“Before starting Gentle Method, I was already familiar with Flow through choreographies taught at my local pole studio, but I still felt that I lacked a deep understanding of movement and proper technique. I struggled to enjoy watching myself dance, and even experienced shoulder injuries from incorrect muscle activation. That is why I decided to start everything again from the very beginning.

Gentle Method completely changed the way I approached movement. Studying everything ‘under a microscope,’ with attention to every detail and both sides of the body, brought so many moments of realization and understanding.

One of the most valuable parts of the course was the structure: the clear separation between theory and practice, the organization into categories, and the way each movement was expanded through different possible continuations. It became clear how one simple element can evolve into endless variations and combinations.

The mini choreographies after each lecture were especially powerful for developing muscle memory and truly integrating movement into the body.

The Performance Creation section also became incredibly helpful, not only for creating choreography, but for understanding how to approach future artistic projects and performances.

Through the course, movement became bigger, transitions smoother, and a completely new dance vocabulary started to develop. At one point, it even felt impossible to fit all the favorite movements and transitions into just one minute of choreography — that is how deeply the desire and ability to flow began to grow.

Gentle Method helped transform Flow from something that was only visually inspiring into something truly understood and embodied through movement.”
