FOCUS
by Daria Che
For a long time, I used to think of time as a straight line—an endless sequence of moments stretching into the past and the future. But the more I deepened my practice, the more I realized that time isn’t linear at all. It only truly exists in the present moment. When I understood this, everything changed. I stopped chasing time, trying to catch up with it. Instead, I started focusing on the quality of time—the depth of each moment and how I experience it.

Time: What, How, Where

When I reflect on time, I break it down into three simple questions:
What am I doing right now? (Focus)
How am I doing it? (Intention)
Where is it leading me? (Manifestation)

The what is about presence—being fully engaged in whatever I’m doing. Without focus, the moment slips away unnoticed, losing its depth and meaning.

The how is the energy I bring into it. Intention is everything. When I move with clear purpose, I know exactly what I want to create.

And the where is The Path of Manifestation. It isn’t just about the final result—it’s a journey shaped by three key elements:

Long-Term Goals – The ultimate vision, the big picture of what you want to become.

Short-Term Strategy – The daily actions, training, and mindset that keep you moving forward.

Milestones – The checkpoints that confirm your progress and keep motivation alive.

When these three align, time is no longer something you chase—it becomes a force that works with you, accelerating your growth and turning intention into reality

Time is the most precious quality of our existence, and it’s worth reflecting on where and how you choose to invest your energy—will you let distractions pull you away and lose focus, or will you channel your energy into potential and let it shine?

I like to think of quality of time as a spring. When I focus and act with intention, it’s like winding a spring tightly, storing energy for a powerful release. The more I focus on what truly matters, the stronger the momentum. And when the moment is right, that energy propels me forward, fast and effortlessly.

And this very same tension exists within our muscles when we dance with focus. By staying present, observing each movement, and consciously engaging our muscles, we create an electric charge—a powerful tension, like a coiled spring. Every movement becomes intentional, every transition holds meaning, and this controlled tension refines our technique, making each motion stronger, sharper, and more expressive.

The Quality of Time

Think about when you’re reading a book. If your mind drifts while reading, you may be flipping through the pages without really absorbing the content. You’re not truly paying attention to the plot or the characters, and so, you’re not gaining the full understanding of the story. The time you spend reading isn’t as effective—it’s not focused, and the quality of your engagement with the material is weak.

This made me think—how many times do we do this in life? How many moments do we go through on autopilot? How often do we train without true engagement, move without awareness, live without fully experiencing?

Now, imagine you focus deeply on the characters in the book. You pay attention to their motivations, how they evolve throughout the story, and the effects of their actions. You dive deeper into understanding the narrative and the connections between the events. By doing this, you become an active participant in the story. You get inspired by their journeys, and you learn from their experiences—whether it’s through their mistakes or triumphs. You improve yourself by connecting to their lessons.

The key here is focus: when you focus on the characters and the deeper meaning in the book, you get more out of the experience. You learn from the characters’ experiences and apply these insights to your own life.

It’s the same technique you need to apply to your movement practice. Just as when you read and focus on the characters, you dive deeper into understanding how they work, what effect they have, and why they matter—you need to bring that same focus and intention to your movements. By observing and staying focused, you silence the outside noise and direct your energy toward what truly matters. It’s like tightening a spring—building momentum without force, allowing results to manifest naturally. No distractions, no unnecessary pauses—just pure focus, lifting you effortlessly to the next step at your own perfect rhythm. This is the essence of focus and the true quality of time.

When I train, I remind myself to be present the way I would be if I were truly reading a story—absorbing every detail, feeling every emotion, understanding every movement. That’s the quality of time. That’s where growth happens.
Focus Without Judgment: Just Observe

One of the biggest shifts in my practice happened when I stopped judging and started observing. I used to analyze every movement—what looked good, what felt wrong, what needed fixing. But the more I judged, the more I lost focus.

Then I learned to simply watch. To notice how my body moves, how my energy flows, how my mind reacts. No pressure, no frustration—just awareness.

Breathwork and Meditation: Training the Focus Muscle

I used to think focus was something I either had or didn’t have. But I learned that it’s a skill. The good news is that FOCUS is a skill—it can be trained and developed. And the simplest way to start is through breathwork and meditation.
Not as a spiritual practice, but as a tool. A way to strengthen my ability to hold focus, to stay present, to direct my energy.

During meditation, the mind will wander—that’s natural. But instead of resisting or punishing yourself, you simply acknowledge it and bring your focus back. No pressure, no judgment. Just the realization that you have the power to control the moment and guide your mind back to where it needs to be.
And by developing the ability to focus and observe without judgment, you naturally bring these skills into your movement practice. With this heightened awareness, your practice transforms—it becomes easier to set clear intentions, create meaningful goals, and infuse every movement with purpose and depth.
Focus on the flow, the muscle engagement, and the feeling of the movement without worrying about perfection. With this practice, you build stronger mental discipline and can hold focus longer, which enhances your performance and technique.

The Result: Faster Manifestation

The more I practice focus, the faster my results come. Not because I rush, but because I remove resistance. I stop wasting time on distractions. I stop scattering my energy. I direct all of it into what truly matters.

It’s not magic. It’s a process. A simple shift in the way I approach time, energy, and attention.

And I’ve learned that when I do this—when I stay present, when I align my focus with my intention—I don’t have to chase what I want. It comes to me. Naturally. Powerfully. In its own perfect timing.

This is the real secret of manifestation. Not waiting, not wishing—but focusing, creating, and allowing.
